    the waffle wheel is the same as the base wheels, sitting at 17x8 +45...

    Ive fit a 255/40/17 on the stock wheel and its likely that you will be able to even fit a 265 tire on, if thats your goal.

    tires are a funny subject.
    because each tire manufactures use their own special sauce of rubber compound, simply comparing across the board makes it impossible, or hard to do because each tire has its own identity/characteristic.

    this means that the tread wear ratings are bullshit! one tire could have a better rubber compound than the other and will wear differently!!


    like anything in life, choosing an option requires goals or an end game.
    What will this tire be used for? summer, winter, fall, spring? do you need to stretch? do you want a thick meaty tire? is grip important to you? or is life more important?
